Itinerary
Your adventure begins with a scenic road transfer from Kampala or Entebbe to the legendary Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park — a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the majestic mountain gorillas. Enroute, enjoy a cultural and culinary stop at the Igongo Cultural Centre in Mbarara, where local flavours and heritage meet. Arrive at Mahogany Springs Lodge, nestled on the edge of the rainforest, and unwind to the sounds of nature.

After an early breakfast, head to the gorilla trekking start point for a briefing before you venture into the misty forest. Armed with your packed lunch and adventurous spirit, you’ll trek through dense jungle terrain in search of a gorilla family — an encounter that will leave you breathless in awe. The trek may take 2 to 8 hours, depending on the movement of the gorillas. Return to the lodge to relax and relive the magic over dinner.
